My name is Sam Matic and I am a seasoned electrical engineer with a diverse background, specializing in industrial automation, process control, drive and motion systems. With a wealth of experience across various industries, I have consistently made significant contributions throughout all stages of the project life cycle.

My journey in engineering has taken me through impactful roles within Fortune 500 companies and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), such as Suncor (The largest integrated energy company in Canada and the pioneering operator in Canadian Oil Sands), Rockwell Automation (Fortune 500 company, one of the world’s leading suppliers of industrial automation and networking products and services), Gerdau (the largest “long steel” manufacturer in Americas) and Siempelkamp (the world’s leading systems supplier of press lines and complete plants for the wood-based panel industry, the metal forming industry as well as the composite and rubber industry). These experiences have shaped my deep understanding of the intricacies of engineering, project management, systems improvements and maintenance across different sectors.

  • Comprehensive industrial and manufacturing processes expertise, spanning sectors such as power generation and energy, oil and gas, metals (steel), automotive, material handling, forestry (engineered wood), food and beverage, cement, and more.
